15 Kick-Ass Image Effects Plugin with Mootools, Jquery

I think you read sooo many articles about image galleries with all javascript frameworks. And maybe you’re sick of these. In this post I tried to collect best ones. Most of them are flash-like. After you read this, I bet  you are gonna use one of them in your next project.

1- Floom

Floom is blind-effect slideshow. It looks like a flash slideshow. One of my favourites.

2- Noob Slide

It is slideshow plugin based on mootools.

3- Panorama

A Mootools plugin for making 360 degree view with a slick navigation.

4-Phatfusion Slideshow

A slideshow with a good effect

5- Agile Carousel

A fully featured Jquery slideshow. It is best for website headers.

6- Simply Scroll

simplyScroll is a jQuery plugin that can animate (scroll) a set of elements either automatically or manually, horizontally or vertically. It can also accept dynamic image input via a Flickr feed (note not full API integration) or a local JSON source. This plugin can be performance intensive, so speed and framerate are fully configureable to accomodate lower spec systems.

7- Cross Slide

CrossSlide is a jQuery plugin that implements in Javascript some common slide-show animations, traditionally only available to the web developer via Adobe Flash™ or other proprietary plugins. CrossSlide builds upon jQuery animation facility, so it is as portable across browsers as jQuery itself (a lot.)

8- Sliced Image Slider

This plug-in provides sliced Image Navigation. The plugin loops through the given images and displays each image partitioned into n number of slices. The number of slices is a parameter that should be passed as an argument to the function. It also has other options like direction in which you want the image to slide.

9- S3 Slider Plugin

The s3Slider jQuery plugin is made by example of jd smooth slide show script. I needed something like that for jQuery (for my web site kruskica.net). Since i didnt find it after a small research i decided to build it by my self. It is very easy. First include the jQuery library then include the s3Slider javascript in the head of the page(s) where you want to use s3Slider.

10- Image Cube

A jQuery plugin that sets a division to rotate between images (or other things) as if they were on the faces of a cube.

11- Slideviewer Pro

slideViewerPro is a fully customizable jQuery image gallery engine wich allows to create outstanding sliding image galleries for your projects and/or interactive galleries within blog posts. slideViewerPro is the direct descendant of the popular jQuery slideViewer plugin

12- Panel Gallery

A simple image gallery where the images are sliced and fade in one piece at a time. Not one image needs to be sliced or edited to work with this plugin, in fact the plugin handles everything itself. You can choose the direction in which the transition occurs from left to right, right to left, top to bottom, or bottom to top.

13- GalleryView

GalleryView aims to provide jQuery users with a flexible, attractive content gallery that is both easy to implement and a snap to customize.

14- SlideFlow

AJAX Image Gallery powered by slideflow (like Cover Flow)

15- Horinaja

Horinaja is a slide-show ready-to-use for scriptaculous/prototype or jQuery. Horinaja is innovant because he use your mouse wheel for a best navigation.
